Acoustic Guitar Nut, Saddle and Bridge Pin Set (High-Density Plastic)

Optimize your guitar’s vibration transmission and give it a new lease on life. This complete replacement kit includes a nut, a saddle, and six replacement bridge pins. It’s the ideal and economical solution to replace worn, cracked, or string-grooved original parts over the years, without needing a luthier for basic adjustments.

Designed from high-density plastic, this set effectively resists string friction and temperature variations to ensure stable tuning. Contrary to false indications from some automatic technical data sheets, these parts do not contain synthetic leather or rubber: they are made of a dense and rigid polymer, essential for preserving the clarity and natural sustain of your acoustic musical instrument.

Available in deep black or light ivory, this kit aesthetically adapts to the finish of your folk guitar. The nuts and saddles are pre-slotted to make installation easier, while the bridge pins feature a contrasting central dot for a neat finishing touch on your bridge.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are the parts made of rubber or leather as mentioned by some automatic tools?

A: Absolutely not. For obvious reasons of acoustic physics, these parts are made of rigid high-density plastic. Rubber or leather would completely dampen the sound of your strings. This dense polymer, on the contrary, allows for good vibration transmission to the soundboard.

Q: Are the parts strong enough to withstand the tension of folk guitar strings?

A: Yes, the high-density plastic used is designed to resist the pressure of metal strings (standard gauges). The pre-marked slots guide the string cleanly to prevent it from prematurely sawing into the nut/saddle.

Q: Is this kit compatible with all guitars on the market?

A: It is perfectly suited for the vast majority of standard-sized acoustic folk guitars (40 and 41 inches). However, it is not suitable for classical guitars (which use nylon strings and much wider nuts, generally around 52 mm). Remember to measure your original parts before ordering.

Q: Do the nuts/saddles need to be adjusted or sanded during installation?

A: Although the dimensions are standard, each guitar has its own action (string height). It is common to have to lightly sand the underside of the bridge saddle or nut on sandpaper to achieve the perfect height adapted to your playing comfort.
