Ergonomic Guitar Leg Rest (Metal Frame & PU Strap)
Forget the classic footrest that always ends up twisting your spine after an hour of playing!
This ergonomic thigh support is designed to redefine your posture, whether you’re in a studio recording session or practicing your scales at home.
By elevating the instrument directly from your leg, it allows both feet to remain flat on the floor, drastically reducing tension in the shoulders and lower back.
The secret to its stability lies in its ingenious “Wing” design and its three-suction-cup system. Rather than resting precariously, the frame firmly attaches to your guitar’s body. Weight distribution is optimal: the instrument no longer slips, even if you tend to move during intense passages. It’s a true physical relief that allows you to stay 100% focused on your technique and musicality.
Regarding manufacturing, we set aside vague promises to focus on concrete facts. The structure is forged from a robust and lightweight metal (stainless alloy), capable of withstanding repeated transport in a gig bag without ever bending.
The support strap, which rests on your thigh, combines a resistant textile base with an easy-to-maintain textured coating.
Lightweight, foldable, and remarkably effective, it’s the discreet hardware upgrade that changes the lives of demanding guitarists.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the strap made of real leather, as can sometimes be read?
A: No, and this is a deliberate choice for maintenance. The strap combines a resistant polyester base for strength and a textured faux leather (PU) upper coating. This offers a premium look while perfectly resisting perspiration and regular friction, without requiring the maintenance of animal leather.
Q: Are the suction cups likely to leave marks or damage my instrument’s finish?
A: The silicone used for the suction cups is soft and designed not to scratch the body or react with modern finishes (polyurethane, polyester). However, a luthier’s tip: if you play an old or high-end instrument with a cellulosic (nitrocellulose) finish, remove the support after each use. This type of vintage finish reacts poorly to prolonged contact with any plastic or silicone.
Q: Does this support really work on an electric guitar?
A: It depends on your model. The suction cups need a smooth, flat, and sufficiently wide surface to create the vacuum. If you have a Hollowbody type guitar (ES-335) or an electric with wide, straight sides (Telecaster type), it will hold very well. However, on a very thin and contoured body with chamfers everywhere (like a modern Stratocaster), adhesion will be much more difficult to achieve.
Q: What should I do if the suction cups start to detach while I’m playing?
A: Loss of adhesion is almost always due to impurities. A simple wipe with a slightly damp microfiber cloth on the guitar’s attachment area, along with a small cleaning of the suction cups with lukewarm water, and they will instantly regain their original suction power.
