String Mute & Pick Holder “Vintage Rose” (Brushed Steel & EVA Foam)
Want to strum your strings at two in the morning without waking up the whole house? Or simply need to keep your picks within reach during a set?
This clever 2-in-1 accessory is the ideal solution for guitarists looking to combine practicality and aesthetics.
It acts as both a remarkably effective mute and a rack for your picks.
Forget fragile plastic gadgets. This mute is designed around a robust brushed stainless steel shell, ensuring excellent durability and a premium look. Sound dampening is provided by a high-density EVA foam core. Visually, the finely integrated “Vintage Rose” pattern on top adds a real touch of elegance to your instrument, without ever looking “cheap”.
Installation literally takes a second. Simply align it above your strings, near the bridge, and press gently. The six foam slots perfectly conform to the guitar’s string gauge, instantly reducing the resonance volume.
And when you’re not using it as a mute, these same slots firmly grip your picks so you’ll never lose them between songs again.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there a risk that the metal part will scratch the strings or the top of my guitar?
A: No risk at all. Only the soft, very dense EVA foam comes into contact with your strings. The brushed steel shell serves only as a rigid structure on top.
Q: Do the picks really stay in place when playing standing up?
A: Absolutely. The slots cut into the EVA foam are designed to grip the pick. As long as you use standard thickness picks, they will remain firmly in place even if you move around on stage.
Q: Do I need to loosen the strings or disassemble anything to install it?
A: Not at all. Installation is instantaneous: you place the accessory over the strings (usually near the bridge or on the fretboard depending on the desired effect) and press lightly so that the strings fit into the slots.
Q: Does the mute completely silence the guitar’s sound?
A: It doesn’t cut the sound 100% (it’s not a mute switch), but it drastically reduces the resonance volume and shortens sustain. It’s ideal for practicing in an apartment or working on your rhythms without disturbing those around you.
