Closed ST Single Coil Pickup Cover (Premium Metal Finish)
Want to give your Stratocaster a sleek and radical look?
This closed single coil pickup cover instantly transforms the aesthetic of your instrument.
No more classic exposed pole pieces, make way for a smooth and elegant surface that won’t go unnoticed on stage.
Made of robust metal, it doesn’t just upgrade your guitar’s style; it’s also a real shield. It effectively protects the fragile winding of your pickups against dust, sweat, and inevitable impacts during your most intense rhythms.
Its standard ST format is designed to integrate seamlessly with your pickguard.
Whether you’re aiming for a decidedly vintage style with aged bronze or a modern look with deep black, this premium finish guarantees an impeccable appearance. The absence of holes for the pole pieces also greatly facilitates daily maintenance.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this real metal or tinted plastic?
A: It’s 100% metal. Unlike original covers, which are often made of ABS plastic, these are stamped from a metal alloy. This offers a high-end visual rendering while adding a slight Faraday cage around your pickup to limit parasitic noise.
Q: Will the color coating fade with pick strokes?
A: The galvanized finish is designed to withstand intensive use. Nevertheless, like any metal guitar hardware, very aggressive and repeated rubbing will eventually create natural wear, which will give an authentic “relic” patina to your instrument over time.
Q: Does the fact that the cover is closed change the sound of my pickup?
A: The impact is very subtle but exists. A solid, closed metal cover tends to very slightly soften the highest frequencies compared to an open plastic cover. This is also an excellent tip if you are looking to tame a single coil pickup that is a little too “piercing” or shrill.
Q: Are mounting screws and springs supplied with the cover?
A: No, the cover is supplied alone. When changing, you just need to retrieve the height adjustment screws and the small conical springs (or latex tubes) that are already on your current pickups to proceed with the installation.
