WoodFlex Vintage Solid Wood Guitar Support: A Natural Position for Comfortable Playing

When you spend several hours playing, the instrument’s position makes all the difference!

The WoodFlex Vintage effectively replaces the traditional footrest by holding your guitar in a stable position, while promoting a more natural posture for your back, shoulders, and arms.

Made from solid beech wood, it combines the warmth of a noble material with a robust design built to last. Its vintage aesthetic complements both a classical guitar and an acoustic with character.

Thanks to its numerous height and tilt adjustments, you can easily adapt your instrument’s position to your body shape and playing style. Whether you’re working on a delicate passage at home, preparing for a competition, or rehearsing before a concert, you’ll quickly find a comfortable and perfectly stable position.

The contact surfaces are covered with a non-slip material that protects your guitar’s finish while ensuring excellent grip. Once installed, the instrument stays naturally in place, allowing you to focus solely on your playing and sensations.

The warm feel of the wood, the overall stability, and the freedom of movement it provides make long practice sessions much more enjoyable.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is there a risk of the wooden opening scratching my guitar’s finish?

A: Not at all. The inside of the jaw and the bottom pad are entirely covered with a thick layer of EVA foam. Your finish, whether polyurethane or nitrocellulose, is perfectly protected against scratches and pressure marks.

Q: Is the pin adjustment system strong enough to support the instrument’s weight?

A: Absolutely. The locking pin inserts deeply into both walls of the solid beech frame. The entire assembly easily withstands the guitar’s weight and the natural pressure exerted by your right arm during playing.

Q: Is it compatible with an acoustic or classical guitar?

A: No, the clamp opening is 47 mm. This dimension is specifically designed for the thickness of electric guitar and bass sides (Solid Body type). The soundbox of an acoustic guitar would be much too thick to fit.

Q: Does installation take long before each practice session?

A: It takes just a second. You simply clip it onto the lower edge of your guitar at your thigh. There are no tightening screws or tricky suction cups; the support holds firmly in place thanks to the instrument’s weight and the foam’s grip.
