Q: One of the visuals mentions a “solid wood” stand, is that the case?
A: Absolutely not, this is a blatant error by the manufacturer on its original descriptive sheets. As close-up photos show, this stand is made of solid black acrylic, combined with a golden synthetic leather strap. There is no trace of wood on this accessory.
Q: Is the suction cup likely to mark or damage my guitar’s finish?
A: If your instrument has a standard glossy finish (polyurethane or polyester), the suction cup will have no impact and will remove without leaving marks. However, we advise against this system on nitrocellulose finishes (very sensitive to plastics/silicones) or on guitars with a matte/porous finish where the suction cup will simply refuse to stick.
Q: Does it really hold well when playing a bit energetically?
A: As long as the suction cup is attached to a clean and smooth surface, the grip is excellent. The two small additional white pads are there to stabilize the body’s angle and prevent the guitar from tilting towards you during play.
Q: Can it be used comfortably on an electric guitar?
A: It’s possible, but it depends on your guitar’s shape. It’s perfect for a semi-hollow guitar or a Les Paul with a fairly wide and flat edge. However, it will be much more delicate to attach to the highly contoured and beveled body of a Stratocaster.
