“Trigger” Ukulele Capo (Ultra-Light Aluminum Alloy)
Changing keys to suit your voice or exploring new sounds should never be a technical constraint. This trigger capo is the essential tool for any ukulele player looking to evolve their playing.
Designed in aluminum alloy, it offers the perfect compromise: unwavering robustness for surprising lightness. Unlike guitar capos (often too heavy) that make your small instrument nose-dive, this one is completely forgotten once installed.
Its “Trigger” spring mechanism allows for quick and fluid one-handed operation: you clip it on and move it between two songs in a fraction of a second.
Regarding protection, there’s no risk to your instrument: the contact areas with the neck and strings are lined with a soft silicone pad. It ensures firm and uniform pressure on all 4 strings without ever creating fret buzz (“bzz”) or marking the fretboard wood.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use this capo on my acoustic guitar? A: No, it’s not recommended. This model is specifically calibrated for the reduced width and flat fretboard of a ukulele (4 strings). It would be too narrow for a guitar neck and would not conform to the fretboard’s radius, which would create buzzing.
Q: Is the spring hard to operate? A: The tension is calculated to be firm to properly press the strings, but the ergonomic handle allows it to be opened very easily with one hand, even for a child or a beginner.
Q: Is there a risk of the metal scratching my instrument’s finish? A: No risk at all. The aluminum never directly touches your instrument. Whether on the string side or the back of the neck, a thick layer of silicone acts as a buffer to protect your finish.
Q: Why choose aluminum over plastic? A: Aluminum offers a much longer lifespan. Where a plastic capo might eventually break at the hinge after many uses, the metal alloy remains reliable year after year while remaining as light as plastic.
