Q: Is the structure really made of metal?
A: Absolutely. The main uprights forming the tripod are made of genuine aluminum alloy. This allows the stand to absorb shocks and remain rigid while maintaining a featherlight weight of 610 grams.
Q: Is the rubber likely to damage my guitar’s finish?
A: The pads are designed from an inert rubber intended to preserve modern finishes (polyurethane). However, as with the vast majority of stands on the market, we always recommend avoiding prolonged contact (several weeks) if you own a guitar with a very sensitive vintage nitrocellulose finish.
Q: Can it hold a heavy bass without tipping backward?
A: Yes, the triangular design ideally distributes the load. You just need to fully extend the notched support arms so that your bass body rests at the correct angle of inclination.
Q: Is it tricky to fold or adjust between songs?
A: Not at all, the manipulation is very smooth. The arms slide on a rail with numbered notches, allowing you to instantly remember the correct length depending on the instrument you are placing. The whole unit folds into a single block in three seconds flat.
