Q: Is the bull made of real solid brass?

A: No, and this is intentional. To avoid placing unreasonable weight on your walls (especially drywall), the body is made of extremely strong engineering ABS plastic. The mirror-polished golden coating gives it that very convincing premium metallic look without the drawbacks of solid metal.

Q: Is this mount strong enough to support a heavy bass?

A: The rigid ABS and metal anchor plate offer excellent pull-out resistance. However, it is primarily designed for standard weight guitars and basses. The final strength will depend primarily on your wall: be sure to use anchors perfectly suited to your wall type (drywall, solid brick, concrete).

Q: Is the soft coating on the horns likely to damage nitrocellulose finishes?

A: The TPR used is a much more stable and safer elastomer than low-grade rubber. However, as with the vast majority of stands on the market, we always recommend particular vigilance with very fragile nitro finishes (such as traditional Gibsons) during prolonged exposure periods.

Q: How does the wall mounting system work?
