Q: Is the strap fabric real denim and are the reinforcements real leather?
A: The strap is made from a durable fabric that perfectly mimics the visual appearance and texture of real denim. The attachment ends and shoulder pad are designed from excellent quality PU leather (faux leather), intended to withstand pulling without requiring the tedious maintenance of animal leather.
Q: Are the attachment ends strong enough to support the weight without tearing?
A: Absolutely. The fastening slots on the faux leather ends are reinforced with neat stitching. Even if the strap is regularly handled to be attached or removed, the hole will not enlarge excessively, ensuring the safety of your instrument.
Q: My ukulele is not equipped with strap buttons. How can I use this strap?
A: No problem, we’ve thought of that. The strap comes with an “end pin” (strap button and its screw) to be installed at the base of your ukulele’s body. For the top of the instrument, simply pass the small black lace provided under the strings, just behind the nut, and attach it to the strap.
Q: Is the widened shoulder pad really useful for an instrument as light as a ukulele?
A: It’s undeniable comfort, especially in summer if you play with light clothing, a tank top, or shirtless. It prevents the edge of the strap from rubbing directly against your skin. And if it ever bothers you or you prefer a more minimalist look, it is completely removable by simply sliding it off the strap.
