Woven “Golden Chevron” Ukulele Strap: Graphic, Warm, and Sturdy
Black and gold, chevron pattern and relief: this strap brings together everything we love about artisanal weaves, without overdoing it.
On a mahogany or koa ukulele, the golden chevrons echo the warm tones of the wood. On a black ukulele, they pop.
The strap is woven in one piece: the golden chevrons are not printed, they are formed by the threads themselves. The result is a tight weave, 1.1 mm thick, with a slight relief, which resists wear and retains its colors.
With its 3.8 cm width, it is slightly wider than most ukulele straps: it remains light but distributes the weight better on the shoulder. The black adjustment buckle allows the length to be adjusted from 75 to 120 cm, for playing both seated and standing.
At the ends, camel faux leather tips are topstitched with an orange thread, featuring slotted buttonholes that easily fit over strap buttons.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q : Le motif est-il imprimé ou tissé ?
R : Tissé. Les chevrons dorés sont formés par les fils pendant le tissage, ce qui leur donne ce relief bien visible. Ils ne s’effacent pas et ne se décollent pas, contrairement à un motif imprimé.
Q : Mon ukulélé n’a pas de bouton de sangle, comment faire ?
R : La sangle se fixe sur deux boutons de sangle. Si votre ukulélé n’en a pas, il faut en poser un à la base de la caisse (petit avant-trou à percer, idéalement par un luthier) et nouer un lacet à la tête de l’instrument, sous les cordes, derrière le sillet.
Q : Est-elle assez longue pour jouer debout ?
R : Oui. Réglable de 75 à 120 cm, elle permet de jouer assis avec la sangle courte, ou debout avec le ukulélé à hauteur de poitrine. Elle est en revanche trop courte pour la plupart des guitares.
Q : Comment entretenir la sangle ?
R : Un chiffon légèrement humide et un savon doux, en tamponnant sans frotter fort. Évitez la machine à laver, qui abîmerait les embouts. Laissez sécher à plat, loin d’une source de chaleur.
